Nature Gallery
I was that kid always playing in the woods. Looking for snakes, salamanders, frogs you name. Usually to bring them home, much to the disappointment of my mother. So of course when I get a camera I'm doing the same thing and it is so much easier to bring a picture of a snake than the actual snake. Well its more comfortable for the family.
I wouldn't know until a slightly bit later in life that I have an unnatural love for water. Which is why it is featured in almost every picture and I have a personal underwater gallery that I am building as well. I just love every aspect of it and interestingly enough I had an unnatural fear of water. I feared water I couldn't see the bottom of, almost drowned twice, required water shoes to hike. Yet, I overcame that fear and now it basically becoming the mainstay of my portfolio.
This gallery, and the underwater one as well, are testaments to overcoming fear in the most practical sense. I was crippled way back when and now I feel like I am playing catch up to a degree, but I am loving the journey.
