Film Gallery

Everything I shoot is Tri-X 400. Besides a few test rolls of off-the-shelf Fujifilm. I really enjoy the grain and the ability to be pushed when you need to. I was actually really late into the film game. I wish that weren't the case. I did shoot film as a kid, but as a general purpose thing. Not like I'm trying to gain exposure for my photographic genius. My favorite part of the whole thing was putting in the film and that I could 'take' pictures with no film in the camera.

Shooting film has a way of refining you. You will be better after film for a bit simply for the mere fact that every shutter release is a $1. That adds up extremely fast. Then most people don't develop at home to reduce the price. I don't yet. This is coming from a guy that shot 100k digital pictures in the last 7 years. Oh which only a few hundred are really at or above my standard now. That was a sad day of deleting pics.

I got my camera a Minolta X-370 after my Dad was about to give away his old camera that he 'some how forgot about' the years I had my photography business. I know right.... but I fell in love with it all over again. Not to mention the glass I am now able to obtain.
